…with a floral obsession.
I create limited edition prints and fiber art in the San Francisco bay area in the traditional territory of the coast Miwok people.

In 2010 I began a career as a writer and letterpress printer, apprenticing at a local print shop and subsequently opening my own independent publishing press. Dedicated to printing limited edition hand made books and small batch, one-of-a-kind art prints, I self-published numerous zines and artist books. In November 2010 I was invited to the Letterpress Printing & Fine Press Publishing Seminar for emerging writers at The Center For Book Arts in New York City. Pieces of my poetic, prose, and essay work have been included in readings for Pinay Lives and Voices, curated by poet Barbara Jane Reyes {live reading} (April 2012); The Lighthouse, curated by Emji Spero of Timeless, Infinite Light (November 2011); and TEXTFORM, curated by artist Jen Bervin (August 2011). In 2012 and 2013 I was invited to participate in the annual Druckwerk Printing Residency in Basel, Switzerland, where I printed a series of artist books and swam a lot in the Rhein River.
My work is influenced by my ancestral Filipinx heritage and the flora and fauna of California {and everywhere else}. I think beauty and liberation are in the details. I’m curious about how natural forms are metaphors for human experiences.
